Description:

Shospec were responsible for the interior curved walls, bulkheads, skimmed ceilings and metal pan ceilings. This contract has been one of our most technical and challenging projects. With 3 x curved walls at a 60˚ incline; this pushed our design and fitting teams to new heights. The walls were of approximately 20 ᶫm in length and 4.5 to 6.5mm in height, with light pockets and large openings in places. Suspended ceilings and bulkheads were mostly curved at wall junctions with a shadow line perimeter cornice.

Quote from Client:

“It came through with flying colours demonstrating the unique attributes of LSFB. In this case instead of straight and square lines, we were treated to dramatic curves that illustrated the versatility of the product.” – Peter Curr

Award:

Shospec were winners of the Light Steel Frame category in the 2013 SAISC Steel Awards & were also a winner in the MBA Excellence in construction awards 2013.
