Shospec proudly sponsored the KZN Tennis South Africa (TSA) Super 8 series tournament recently held in Durban at the iconic West Ridge Park Tennis Stadium. Run during the school holidays, from the 5th – 10th July, this tournament offered singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions for all levels from under 10 through to open. Each day was action-packed with budding Kevin Andersons taking to the hard courts to show their metal (sorry, we couldn’t resist an LSF-inspired pun). The umpires and officials all looked extra smart in their Shospec-sponsored golf-shirts and were kept cool in the heat of Durban’s “winter” with a new Shospec sponsored air-conditioning unit installed in the club house.
Well done to all competitors who showed determination and a competitive spirit that is only a sign of good things to come for the future of South African tennis.
