This is the concept behind Cornubia Mall – an 85 000m2 shopping mall situated near Mount Edgecombe in Umhlanga. Unlike traditional shopping centres which offer customers a selection of retail stores and food outlets, this mall goes one step further by offering an outdoor family-orientated shopping experience that boasts a 70km cycling trail as well as three five-a-side outdoor soccer pitches. This is where Shospec comes in – we have been busy with construction of the club house installing internal and external LSF wall panels and cladding. The club house is around 105m2, including the deck and is modelled on a very modern look and feel. This project will take us just two weeks to complete, in time for the mall’s grand opening on the 28th September. It’s well worth a visit!
