Head’s up, for our ceilings!

We’ve been busy-like-a-beaver over the past few months. Last year we started with the facelift at the Department of Transport in Hyslop Road in PMB and promised to deliver you a brand-new look the next time you visited to renew your car license- you cannot, however, rush perfection and will still be on site for a further 18 months or so. Our main job is to add 7m high Drywalls and double boarded skimmed walls, Hi-Spec and Sound walls between senior managers’ offices and in the board rooms for added privacy. At a later stage we will install Acoustic Hufcor Operable walls (Movable walls) which are sound rated to add flexibility and functionality to boardrooms and offices. We promise you will not be disappointed when this project is completed! Thanks for being so patient.

Off we go to Vryheid, to the neonatal surgery situated on the 3rd floor of the Vryheid Hospital which is currently undergoing ceiling improvements. This project had started in July last year and is due to be completed within the next month. Our main job here is to install 1200 x 600 x 31mm Calcium Silicate ceilings and lay in ceiling tiles in the exposed grid areas as per the Department of Health specifications. Just when we thought we were done laying down the…uuh…. ceilings we bounced back to KZN to roof something over at the Edendale Hospital. Our team was called in to assist with touch ups, where we are laying ceiling tiles to cover up all the exposed grids – see how important ceilings are! And you thought this would be boring.

Nope we are still not done! Next time you’re browsing around Woolworths in the Liberty Midlands Mall, take a look up… yeah that’s us… well not physically because we are burning the midnight oil working on the ceilings while you all are tucked up in bed! We were called in to fit in new ceiling tiles, Bulkheads and forming of light recesses across the entire existing shop! Shew…. and that’s not all, we are also installing new Drywalls to create the perfect fitting rooms for you. You’re welcome!
